These are Kaimanawas that I have taken from muster's and handled or that have come to me as unhandled Kaimanawas. If you have a Kaimanawa you are trying to find a home for I would be happy to include them on this page. Please email me if you have any questions about any of these ponies.   Also check the new arrivals page as these ponies will be available once their handling is complete.

Annie, Sable and Quinn are now handled and doing well in their new home with Amanda in Auckland.
MEG
Meg came to me unable to walk through a severe case of Laminitis. (see new arrivals page)   Meg is now fully sound and is galloping around the paddock bucking and full of energy and just dying to get out there and do something!

Meg is a big, solid 14.2hh, 9yr old mare. Meg has now been started under saddle and is great to ride. She is however still very green so an experienced rider is needed. Meg would make an awesome farm hack, trekking horse.   She is enjoying being ridden so much.

Because of her neglected past, I have decided to put Meg under the International League for the Protection of horses which means Meg can be adopted and it will ensure she will be well cared for, for the rest of her life to make sure she does not become neglected again or be left to founder.

Meg has heaps of personality and is very intelligent, she would make an awesome ride for someone.
Meg is happily living with Polly in Raglan. Polly plans to take Meg out and about this coming season and is really enjoying riding Meg.

Minnie has gone to be a Nana for the Grand Prix dressage boy "Komplete Kaos".   Minnie is loving her new job.
Midnight Magic (Minnie)
Minnie came to me late last year heavily infoal.   In late January she foaled a gorgeous bay colt called "Mc Naught".   Minnie is also the Mum of my darling Zorro.   Minnie is approx. 15yrs and 13.2hh.   She had just had her teeth done and is ready to be rehomed to a caring family as a paddock mate only.   Minnie would make an ideal companion for another horse, she is easy to have around and she doesn't get upset if the other horses get taken out of the paddock to be ridden.   Minnie is a real sweetie who has had abit of a hard life and deserves lots of love for the rest of her years. Minnie is free to the right home.
LIBERTY MILLIONAIRE (MILO)
Milo has been sold to a lovely family in Akl. We look forward to updated pics of Milo and Tori
Milo is a 3yr old gelding. Milo was born here on 29 Oct 03 out of a wild mare (Millie)captured in June 03. Milo should mature approx. 14.1hh. He has a very stocky build and has a beautiful, sensitive nature. He is a pleasure to do anything with. He will need a home with a quiet, gentle family. He learns very quickly with a gentle approach. $600 to approved home.
*SOX*
Sox has been sold to Stacey Leigh and has been started under saddle and is jumping so well. Pics on updates page.
Sox is an 8yr old Kaimanawa mare, she came to me late last year, her owner was about to put her on the dog tucker truck. Born in captivity from a wild capture mare, Sox had grown up with just another mare the same age for company. Sox is now handled to lead, tie up, have feet trimmed and has been on a float, had plastic bags all over her, had her teeth done etc., nothing fazes her at all and she is lovely to handle in every way. Sox's only issue is she cannot cope with new horses, she is very insecure as a result of not being socialised all these years.   She is getting better every day and will be fine but will need to go to a home with just one or two other horses to start with and with someone who will take the time to settle her in.   Sox is $700 neg. to the right home. More pics of Sox can be seen under the New Arrivals page.
